Hi peeps,
I'm rewiring the tracker from scratch and have a layout board to make a new loom.
Now I'm confused as to what size cable to buy. I'm looking at thinwall stuff to keep everything as tight as poss.
0.5mm is good for 11 amps
1mm good for 16.5 amps
I figure that's all i need as the highest amps is 15amps from the stator. 180watts/12volts = amps
have i under estimated this i.e. too close to its max rating?
any other info would be nice, like can i get bullet conectors to fit the thinner stuff?
cheers
Drewps
I'd better update this, rather than me blog!
here are the latest pikkies of the tracker
engine's in, brakes done and work!
need to wrap the exhausts, rewire, a few bits and bobs which I probably forgotten and await the paint job

keep going, I get a see through plastic tube and suck it through till you see brake fluid. its hard going It took me ages till the fluid started to come through.
tie the lever back over night with tie wraps to get any little bubbles out.
this confirms my suspicions that all cats are robots and there is a pressure switch on the back of their neck for deactivation, as this video demonstrates

recheck you built it right. I did mine and took a few goes to get it right, usually the holey disk is put in wrong.
If you still have no joy, I think I have a spare 2nd hand one.
