I'd check your carb diaphrams, sounds like the main system is not kicking in as it should. the timing is done by electronic ignition. did you clean the main nozzle out with all those little holes?

sounds like clutch drag. adjust the clutch if its cable operated (and not at the lever end) also I find it helps if the chain is adjuted correctly too

you got neg ground, there have been mixed reviews on getting these electronic flashers to work.
