Well I managed to trial fit the cb250k0 brake on and its tight, but do-able Just need to make a small spacer and bend and arm slightly for the link to clear. I will need to offset the rim 4mm to the right, other than that I'm happy

I'd just wet and dry them, mop polish and use an alloy polish to finish (I prefer Peeks) mine have been great for 6 years and still look good
