good write up, only worn my Shark helmet for one session so hoping to use it a lot more this year!
-
took out the head bearings today and gave the front end a good clean. the parts list grows (doesn't it always) and gaskets cost a fortune. Ordered a new oil strainer as couldn't get it completely clean! needing some stainless hoses all round too!
-
all finished now and really enjoyed the book, now onto AC/DC biography

Oh how the mighty do fall, quite sad really

wouldn't work on an LED though, but you can try

Just got this on Kindle and its a cracking read. Gives you an insight as the the machinations of the race industry, the old adage is still true, its not what you know but who you know! still Martin has the grit and determination to succeed and still have fun. that's why he still works on the lorries then he can answer to no-one at the end of the day.

wow, that's some balancing act and strength

sorry I meant to say for the fuel

well I've decided not to go the CBR shock route now, too much hassle. It is going to be cheaper to get the original shock rebuilt! so I've put it on the market to sell. the bike is totally stripped now and I've noticed the head is weeping slightly, I have a head gasket so might swap the head for the refurbed one I already have and keep the later XJ cams. I already had tapered head bearings fitted but they were pretty loose, but well greased. I had purchased a set thinking that they were knacked, might still fit them though! I'm going to visit the powder coaters soon, keeping with the silver for the frame as it ties in the forks and swing arm and just looks right. Picking up some more plastics friday from a guy off facebook FZ600 page

I would use to set up with cheaper materials and then get a solid one made up. there is a lot of stress on those
-
watch for adjustable ones, I was looking into that for my FZ and came across a lot of failures, mostly at high speeds. it soon stopped me from pursuing that one
-
should work ok then

ace pressie, and a great wife too by all accounts
-
looking good, is the swing arm the same length as the ducati?
-
does it have the particle filter still attached and cleaned? what colour is the spark plug?
-
thought you were forgetting about it! it will dwell on your mind and then you'll start getting angry and go for revenge
-
been in this for a few years now and gets you into shows for a £1 if you come on your bike. Costs just a stamp
-

I'd report it to the police, let them record it you never know if they know the car! Glad your not too bad though, day 2 usually is more painful
