    well drove 200 miles today to give the painter my plastics, only gone and forgot the fuel tank left it in the shed as it stunk, so I borrowed a box off him and said he can have it back when I send the tank asked it to be ready for end May

    managed to weld on the new top mount for the r6 shock, about 25mm longer, which is fine old mount new mount off to Andys bikes in Derby to drop off the plastics

    its an electric servo,opens for top end closes for lower revs. they are supposed to be stripped every year and HiMelt grease applied. then adjusted

    not surprised, cleaning carbs is the inside bit, not the exterior. send them out to get them sonically cleaned and you won't go far. I assume the intakes are not cracked and you have any intake barbs covered up?

    if they work, no big deal if they don't. hopefully getting the paint off to andy2bikes in derby this week unless I get a better offer/quality on price switch gear done, shock mounts will be done this week and I'll have the front shocks done as I've got some racetech linear springs to fit in there. I'm off work now so I'll strip the other engine this week and see what I have cylinder wise then powder cost frame and then rebuild starts
