  1. Hey, I have a 1974 DT360 that has been my most reliable bike for a long time, but it recently has been bogging down when put under load (ect. small hills) and when the throttle is applied. I have been able to get over the bog by shifting down and getting in the higher revs of a lower gear, but it is kind of difficult to do when you're going up a hill. I've tried soaking the carb in carb cleaner for a day or so, but that has only made it idle funny. When I stop it, the idle gradually increases until it hits the rev limiter or the red line. I've run out of ideas, so please help. Thanks

Check Bike Bandit. http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycl...0g-1980/o/m8361 They had a complete seat assembly for around $200, if you are willing to spend that much.
  3. Check bikebandit.com. They have a huge inventory of parts, and I think that they would have a ton of part for that bike. It is also really easy to use and all of the parts are OEM directly from Yamaha. Hope this helps. Baseballpro3112

Hi, I just got a '88 YZ250 with an FMF Fatty pipe,a FMF powercore silencer, and a DG Rear shock and was wondering how much horsepower, torque, ect.., it put out. I also wanted to know if it was worth the $300 I paid for it. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

  6. Hi, I have a '79 YZ250 that I think needs new rings. I can get it to start on the first few kicks, but it smokes like crazy when it is running. I fogged up our whole valley with just a few minutes of riding. I haven't been able to do a compression test, but I think that the compression is a little low. If anyone could give me the regular compression for it in PSI, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
