I've got Cargo sports panniers and they are great and they expand. The rain cover is crap though. It just blew up like a baloon on the motorway and then burst!!!

Have a look at www.thebikeinsurer.com. I have no no claims but did pass my test in 2001. I can get a brand new R6 insured for £560 fully comp. I do have a car no claims that some of the companies take into account. To be honest, you'd be better doing a year on a less powerfull/ desireable to theives bike and get the 1 yr no claims. Your insurance will drop like a rock once you've got it.
  3. Thanks for that, I'm thinking of buying direct from my local Yamaha dealer. They will supply the bike and fit an R&G tail tidy and crash mushrooms for £6634. They have also suggested I fit a tracker monitor for £399 instead of an alarm. Any thoughts?
  4. Hi, I'm in the same situation, I'm looking at a new 08 R6 from George White for 7499 with all the extra kit. I don't need the leathers, boots or helmet so they will probably go on e-bay. But all the other kit will come in useful. My question is around the Micron GP Can. I've been told that Micron have gone bust and that the cans were made for 06/07 R6's not the 08. Is this true and does it matter? Where can I see a picture of one as George White don't have any? Thanks,
