Hi Ya TT, I had the same problem, In the end i stuffed my PODS (clear flow) with lightly oiled domestic sponge, Figured i was getting way to much air, Worked! Mark.

Mon,7am, All`s well, 9am, In bed convulsing like i`m having E.C.T. I just don`t capitchulate that easy, But i`m sat her now typing this felling like a sad OLD man. So the moral is... If your offered this jab, Snap he`s bleedin hands off, Don`t be brave (stupid) Drop your trousers there and then, DON`T DELEY... DO IT TODAY P.S. Thanks for your quick reply Jim, yes i`ve "jumped" the Post terminals on the solenoid, Nothing, Think i`ll just start from scratch again, But my beloved "garden of England" Has turned into Siberia, if it ever stops raining i might do a little better, ( I do miss my garage), Many thanks, Mark.

Hiya Peeps, Do starter solenoids wear out or just stop working?, I`ve just revamped my S/motor, It spin`s like a mad thing when connected directly to the battery (New, Full charge), When connected via the solenoid, The solenoid ether just clicks or turns the S/M slowly, Draining the battery, I`ve checked the wiring, Having had the S/M out, Alls clean, dry, No shorts, loose connections, From button to solenoid seems OK as well, Any insight would help, Many thanks as always, Mark. After thought, The solenoid IS connected the right way round.

HIya All, Just got back from second ride, About 20m, All well, pulled through All the gears, not much top end though, 65ish, But HEY i`m a cruiser, (works for me). No knocking, funny noises, smoke, flames, And it stopped, Magic these front brakes, Checked her over as soon as i got home, no leeks as far as i can see, Not even that hot, So i`m well pleased, She was ready for the scrappy when i got her, And now comes the big clean, Paint job, Any tips for cleaning the engine would be helpful, THANK YOU for your help getting the old girl this far, Al the best, Mark.

HI , When i replaced my air box (knackered) with twin K&N filters, i cut the breather tube short and put on a baby filter, No running probs, I did`nt know what else to do with it really, Mark.

Hi ya`all, Been out for first ride this morning, I KNOW I`M A STUPED OLD FOOL, With no front brake, BUT i just had to know if the clutch/gearbox were ok, because it`s going to be a long hard save before i can afford a brake, ( Did i mention the gaggle of offspring, Christmas, And all that), Now i can get on with other things, Lots to do yet, So don`t go away, Stay tuned, ILL BE BACK, So thank you all, Mark.
