Broken bleed nipple
The Bleed nipple has sheered off the brake caliper! luckily, (or not) it has done it in such a way that the plug is still intact, however i think it will be a tough job to remove it! Anyone now what size it is, and also a way of going about removing it?

Getting there.... but still need help
Right, had a wee problem with my bike, its an sr 125 been lying for a year. I have done a full service, stripped and cleaned the carb too. So put it all back together and it starts with a full charge from the battery, however after a few minutes, it starts spluttering and the idle drops until it eventually cuts out. If i rev it, it splutters aswell. I have put the fuel, air idle etc at the correct position. When it does die, and i try to restart it, i get the ancient doorbell sound from the solenoid clicking, Check, the battery and it has dropped. I have checked the charging circuit and its producing a healthy 14v plus, but the battery doesnt seem to be retaining it. So, any suggestions? I'm guessing, new battery. but surely that wouldnt cause the rough running would it?

More problems
Its the taking the head off thats concerning me. ive got a manual for a ybr125 which i have been told is just a new sr125 so is pretty much same as. I think i'll really need to try my luck and take it off and then from there. looks like i wont have the bike ready for monday as nowhere local sells helicoils. O other thing, have you ever used self tapping bolts? think they'd be any good

More problems
unfortunately i only had my camers phone so thats why the pics aint great. Yes the holes are now slightly bigger. My intentions were to, if possible, tap a slightly larger thread and use a bigger bolt, ive seen the helicoil repair kits but dont know if im too keen on trying them

Having been a cop myself for several years now i agree with you. However, i'm afraid the penalties aren't decded by the police, its by the justicial system.

More problems
I posted last week about the problem with the exhuast clamp bolts rounding off. Well i successfully got them out. However, I cant get a new bolt into the holes. I have tried re-tapping a thread, but it is too tight a space, and i have tried several bolts but there appears to be no thread so i am really struggling. Anyone any suggestions? I have pics available aswell

Just bought an SR 125. It needs a little bit of work, SO went to remove the exhaust, The blot at the back of the bike, just below the foot peg has rounded so it aint coming off. Anyone got any hints on how to remove it? Also, before i bought it, one of the bolts which mounts the exhaust into the manifold also sheered so it looks like i need to drill it out, any advice on it?
