Anyone know the correct codes for Marlboro orange & white paints. ? Update on TZR600, - TZR250 engine has been out to replace knackered left cylinder +piston, while it was out I offered up the XT600 lump. it will fit well but I will need to mod the lower frame mount that normally holds the lower frame brace. I will need to fab & weld a wider mount while retaining the same hole axis, I will incorporate this with the original suspension pivot point, this should give me a good strong lower engine mount & allow sprocket alignment. I'm quite tempted to buy another frame to do the mods on, this will leave the 250 in one piece for a bit longer while I make the various bits. TZR250 engine back in now & almost ready for road use,sounding good & looking like a good'un, so I might end up with two bikes from this project News on the name, we have a winner, so future posts will be titled XTR600

Why,I don't know, but I think you mean the Cerne Abbas giant in Dorset. The photo was taken in Shropshire at a local hillclimb meet. Although to fair it does induce a boner when I see it.......note to self.must meet more women. This is going to be the mule for the XT motor.

I did think perhaps XTsei, but as there is zero Italian link I kicked it out. Quite like XTR600.

Good point about the name, but if I was after a GP rep I would go the RGV/RG500 route (sorry Yam only fans) I'm not after a race replica, more a street bike with good potential to go hillclimbing with so a good torquey motor will be better for drive rather than a peaky 2T I will take yor thoughts on board about the name but unless a better suggestion is made .... TZR600 will stick. Oh and by the way, its too late because i've just had the XT600 motor delivered.

Hi all, looks like I've got a TZR 2MA, pick it up this week. so the XT engine mod will start soon. I plan to photo doc the mods so will keep track & post as an ongoing thread if anyones interested.
