hiya mate, I fitted an R&G teil tidy,(I think it was anyhow,) all I had to do was un-do the 4 bolts holding the standard work of art on,and rebolt the new one,easy,i put bullet connectors onto the indicators so I can refit at any time,did not have to go near the main fuse/battery area at all,only unbolted the rear tail piece to take the rear footpegs off.All this from memory,i can check tomorrow if your still havin problems

Hiya mate, does this come from your air box,if so it's your hot air feed,wont do any harm plugging it at the air box end.This is assuming it's from your air box,check 1st

Hi Mate, does the instrument panel go through any kind of a pre check whilst this noise is there?? IE: does the rev counter go to max then return

hi mate,not sure where to look for an early R6,I've had 4 r6's I currently have the latest model,The early 5Eb model whioch is the first one did have a problem with the gear selector return spring,it's nothing to worry about but when they go it's good to know it's not the end of the world,it's a simple job,obviously needing a new spring and a gasket,cost about a tenner,most of them were recalled and recitfied so you may never experience it,butit's l;ess painfull if you already know,apart from that,there a mint bike,cheers Andy

Hi, I'm new to this but would like to know if anyone out there has the same problem as me,I've had my R6 from (2007)new,bought last Oct and covered 3500 happy miles on it,only problem is,after I've given it it's weekly wash,it's left to dry before polishing,in that time,usually a couple of days,once restarted has throttle problem,at first it would stick on,screaming it;'s head off,now it's the other way,once started it ticks over nicely,but when twisting the throttle,nothing,desn't rev,nothing,this is only an intermitten problem and maybe only happens once a month,I've had it back to the dealer several times,but as there is no error code showing,they draw a blank,this has been happening before it's first 600 mile service so it's not just appeared,is there anyone who has the same or similar problem,once the bike is running,fine,it's good to blast, cheers
