  1. Hi Jim - I have done this on my 2007 R6 - I needed to drill out my exhaust flanges that bolt to the engine and also the rear bracket didnt match up so had to match one of them aswell. I had a reducer made up - 53mm to 45mm i think it was. I ended up welding it onto the manifold and needed to cut it back so that the footpeg bracket could still be used (with akrapovic megaphone end can) Have a look on ebay - thats where i go the reducer from.

    Hi mate - I also have an issues at the moment with 02 sensors. I have a 2007 R6 which i have put a new manifold and silencer on which have no hole for the 02 sensor, i have been told by a few people now to drill and weld a new threaded lug on so i can fit my standard sensor. Im not sure why i need to as no-one could explain but i might do it. If you want to remove the sensor itself just follow the wire back up and simply unplug it from its electrical connector. Hopefully someone can let us know if we defiantly need our sensors.
