Hi all Looking at buying a track bike but am unsure of some of the bikes ive seen. One that I looked at had no V5 as the bloke said it was a "cat c", i assume this means write off? is this one to stay away from? should i buy a track bike with a V5? Also if its ok not to have a V5 how can i check its not stolen, last thing i want is to loose my money and have my bike taken by the police!!! Any info would be great Thanks

Hi all The other day I got caught on my R6 doing 93mph in a 60, had the letter through that said it cannot be resolved with a fixed penalty ie. A court summons, anybody any idea what I'll get? Also only had my license about a year but a car license for about 6 years, does the 6 points in 2 years thing count. Any help would be great Also for the people that say I deserve what I get, I know I do!! Thanks

I dont know to be honest i just found it. Id hope it was on a dyno - would u want to risk it on paddock stands? That could go down hill fast, but would have been a quality video!!!

Hi guys Me and my friend have decided to go round Europe on our bikes in the summer and i have so many qustions!! 1) My bike is only insured TPFT, do you think this is asking for trouble on a long ride? 2) Is there any decent luggage racks for a 2008 R6 that people have used? 3) Where are the best places to go on your bike? I havent been biking long and was reading this thread yesterday, i always give the nod and think its polite. Today i was out on my bike near brigdenorth and rode past a bloke parked up on the side of the road, immediately this thread popped in my head and i thought "im going to help that person like all bikers should". I u-turned went back past the bloke and nodded for the 2nd time (i would of stopped this time but i bottled it), u-turned AGAIN and pulled up behind him. Just my luck that this bloke was the biggest T**T i've ever met!! The conversation went a little like this- Hi mate, r u ok? not broken down r u? NO IM FINE!! Oh right ok, just thought id check Yeah well next time dont bother. I would of had a word but i was so shocked that i just went. Ruined my ride out, so if your ever broken down anywhere and i just ride past then please forgive me!!
