First Bike, Yamaha SR125, Beginner Questions
Keep servicing that little engine and it will go on forever, the top ends have a habit of going pop due to lack of maintanence

dt 80 mx restoration
Still, better than having that money sat in a bank account earning 0.0001% interest, maybe in 20 years time the market for DTs will shoot up and a restored example like yours will be worth its weight in gold.

Sending multiple things to DVLA?
Hi peeps. Have a quick question, i have about 4 V5Cs and a couple of V5 applications to send to DVLA, would i be able to put them all in the same envelope and write a single cheque for the total of £125, or would i have to send them each seperately and write a seperate cheque for all of them?. I really dont want them to fuck up and loose it all. so how best should i go about this?

*NOOB* Disconnecting the battery
Unrelated story: At work we have a piece of test equipment called an insulation tester, basically a small box that sends high voltage through a cable and checks to see that it is insulated (the electricity isnt leaking out), the leccys used to have a nasty habit of wiring it up to the door handle leading into the hangar, when they saw someone go past the window they would energise the handle and anyone who touches it got a shock... evil bastards.

Squires 2013 T-shirts!
Hey peeps Would anyone be interested in some special edition Squires 2013 T-shirts? since it is the first time i will acutally be going there, i thought i could put in some creative effort and make it one to remember. I feel that there should be a theme to the shirts though, maybe a funny cartoon or something, would anyone be interested?

brake fluid should just be a straight top-up, no need to drain it. Tyres have canvas (or sometimes steel wire) cords underneath the rubber to help the tyre maintain its shape and for reinforcement, cracks to cords is where the rubber has crack (or split/cut) down to these cords, if the cords are exposed they may have also been damaged and the tyre may fail prematurely.

Whats a TZR125RR Belgarda worth?
Cheers cynic, i may have found a complete (but partly disassembled one) from the same place i bought project popper from, he was asking about 700 but unless i can see it running im leaning more towards £500, is that too much/not enough e.t.c?

What do you do while you're stationary at lights or in traffic?
When i was with a load of mates on mopeds we used to play urban van art. basically, when in traffic, find yourself a dirty white van and (without the driver noticing) draw things in the dirt on the side, points gained for more detailed artwork, points lost if the driver gets out and kicks your head in.

Project Popper
Hey peeps have picked up another little project to keep me occupied, Project mong has gone, the FTO has sold and hopefully by next week the Fireblade will have a new home aswell. Bought this from a dealer who got it as a part-ex, its a non-runner, previous owner said he was riding along one day and it just stopped, he then proceeded to take the side panel off but because he didnt know what he was doing he was unable to fix it, on further inspection i found it has spark and fuel but no compression... i suspect a top-end rebuild is needed (maybe just a rebore and oversize piston), also trying to source a new floor panel as the one on it is cracked Was thinking of doing a how-to video of a top end strip and rebuild, and possibly a few other simple tasks, any thoughts?

Foamys New toy!
Has spark, has fuel, no compression. top end rebuild, £35 for a whole kit, will see what condition the bore is in as if i can rehone it i may be able to get away with just new piston and rings. Turns out it wasnt MOT'd but they were kind enough to throw in a battery aswell , there was also a nice yamaha TZR125R (Belgarda possibly?) sat there looking very sorry for itself, all complete but a half-finished project, he was asking £700 for it which in that condition is too steep for me... looks quite nice though...
