Rear fairing has arrived, its alright i spose, but its far too angular for what i want, it will suffice for now but i will likely chop and change it before remoulding in fibreglass. the first headlight i bought arrived in several bits with the glass being smashed, the second headlight was intact, the rickman fairing i will have to collect from norfolk (4 hours away!) but its all slowly coming together. tank and mudguards are getting painted during the week, gonna need to strip them carbs again as it dumps fuel from the choke jet into the throttle bodies on the rear cylinder when the throttle is opened

Bear in mind I weigh just under 10 stone... The FJ is considerably more than that!

It's time for my favourite Christmas song I personally love Christmas, it's the only time of year I can drink during the day and people don't think I'm weird

No doubt in my mind the FJ is an old tank, couldn't pick it up by myself when I dropped it! I really only come here to read the comments, what an exciting past few days it's been on this forum!

new toy! :D
It's coming together :3. Sorry for the shite lighting, I'm basically working in a car park behind my work, and the saxo has headlights like candles in jam jars.

Well after some theiving little shitbag decided to nick the battery and headlight (which i never even got a chance to use!) i felt a little bit pissed off and lost what little enthusiasm i had left. then i spotted a cafe racer fairing for sale on eBay... 99p... oh go on then, id had a few drinkies by this point, low and behold i won it. next was a chromed 7" headlight off an XS250, aswell as an old kawasaki Z250 tail unit from a facebook group, so hopefully after this weekend all my parts will have arrived and i can start piecing it back together again.

new toy! :D
Yes peeps, it's been a few months since I had something new to play with, this FJ1100 was actually a freebie from the same guy I bought my FJ1200 from, story goes that it had its running gear pinched for a trike project and the rest was stored until I was given it many years later. I have already sourced an engine and most of the missing parts from a donor FJ I split for parts last month, I do like the smaller front fairing though

Lock picking.
Had to break into my FTO last year after I lost my keys, borrowed a hacksaw and cut the clamp off the steering column to get the steering lock off , luckily I had a spare set of locks on one of my scrappers As for the bikes, the last one I had to get keys cut for was the SR and that involved taking the numbers off the barrel and ringing up keysinthepost.com to get a set sent out to me

You must be yokeing...
Hi peeps. I'm still trying to find parts for the FUCR, mainly the top yoke, the dimensions I need are 35mm stanchions, with 19cm between their centres and 5cm from the stanchion centreline to the stem. I already tried XS400 ones but stem fell about 1cm short of what I needed. Sorry for the crude diagram, but it gets the point across, I'd be very grateful if any of you peeps can measure up yours (giggity) and let me know if any of them would be likely to fit.
