my DT doesnt have a redline... Woohooo!!!! Jawa redlines at 5750... but fair amount of grunt to it, managed to powerslide and spit me off into the garden hedge yesterday :\

Never liked them myself, few of my "crew" tried going past the local cameras with thier feet over the numberplate and it does work, but the plod will find them eventually :\ i dont travel very far from newbury anyway so its only really the yellow "piggy banks" i have to watch for

PRTC was fine, albeit hard work, i gotta get used to the 5am starts... i didnt even know there was a 5am, just got to keep my fitness up and the RT should be alright. 9 weeks at Halton, a year at Cosford

Okay, now, as you may/may not remember, i was planning to tour ireland on my DT50, but common sence and a lack of a full licence meant that i couldnt and tonight whilst scouring the web for Jawa parts i came across THIS and i for one think it is genius, put a sidecar onto my Jawa 350 and chuck all my stuff in it, maybe extend it so i can kip in it at night, anyone else ever tried sometihng like this and how well does it work?

hi everyone. is there a way to repair cracked mirrors at minimal cost?, i have two that i broke on my DT (one when i slipped off in a wet car park, the other when it fell over in the garage and smashed the mirror against the wall) and rather than fork out £30 for another set of universal mirrors for the Jawa would it be possible to repair the old mirrors and use them instead?. one of them just has a large crack down the middle of the glass, the other one has no glass at all, so maybe i could fill it in and put something else in there?

looks like the ones i had on my dt when i first got it, they look road legal judging by the tread pattern, if they arent road legal they sohuld be marked "Not for road use" or similar. make sure it has more than 1.6mm tread and they should be fine

nah they were completely insane, spent most of the freetime in the evening talking about taking a load of birds and midgets out into international waters for a massive pissup O.o came home talking with a stupid accent, lol

what sprockets are you running? ive got a 14 tooth front sprocket and a 48 tooth rear sprocket and 40-50mph is all i get, its only a 5-speed and if you gear it up any more you will loose out on inclines and acceleration.

well, my quick fix of cutting down the lever did work... until my "mates" decided to swipe the keys from my jacket and take the bike for a spin around the block , now the splines are definately f*cked, will wait until sunday and take it to my dads to be drileld and put a bolt through it i guess

as far as im aware you can only burn an .ISO image to a removable media device or CD/DVD, it must be .avi/.mpeg/.mpg to upload it onto Youtube, although you may be able to import the CD into windows movie maker and exporting as a .mpeg format, ... yeh...
