  1. "Personally i dont like harleys. i ride them cause i am in the club and and that is the image, but if i could, i would seriously consider riding a HONDA ST1100 or a bmw. we really missed the boat not switching over to the japanese models when they began building bigger bikes" Sonny Barger.
  2. Well, with Kent being Kent, I'm sure most bike accessory shops can get one in for you. You're kinda spoilt for choice down there!!
  3. Blimey... that looks bigger than I remember from the showroom!!
  4. DON'T start it in gear!!!!! Remember your CBT. Bad things can happen if you do this. Start normally - In neutral, stand up, choke off. Only after the usual fails (give it a fair few goes) consider messing about with stuff like the choke.
  5. WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... From-fifty-quid-to-a-hun-dred-grand WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR..... WEBUYANYCAR.....
  6. Take the chain and ride up to the shop with it. Then try it out in their bags. Job done.
  7. I love the ones where there's a slight shadow, making it seem like there's actually a driver in the car. Very cool, but the lack of people is also kinda creepy...

    BBQ rules

Nah, laaitie. 'Bra' and 'bru' is Broer, my china... Braai is more like barbecue, except you rarely get salad stuff - Bread, meat and beer. Women just have to sit around and look pretty! Sien jy: Wiki page about braai - Just the basics...
  9. Yep, plenty of 'em out there. Almost as many as saddlebag makes. Google is your friend!
  10. Use the search function here and find my many posts about Locksmiths. I might also call them Lockies, so search for that too. All your questions shall be answered

That's why we have a Braai instead!!
  12. There will be a pouch that fits a 2m chain - There are ones that fit 3 metres in!! The straps all have male end QR clips. Therefore, they will not clip into each other. Typically, to hold the fully laden pouch tight to the back seat, the straps will be adjusted so tight that when the pouch is not clipped on, the clips are flush with the seat. They don't dangle in the slightest.
  13. You can get different sized bags. For £175, I'm surprised yours didn't come with one included or that you weren't offered a free one. Mine came with one and it was less than £100!!!
  14. Sorry - I was away with Her Ladyship, it being Valentine's weekend and all... I don't think there is a winner. I think the goal is to keep it going as long as possible. Otherwise you could stump someone very easily. The place I saw this being played was over 85 pages, without repetition!! Anyway: Free Willy
  15. Answered in another thread, but: You do need the support frames, both to lash the bags to and to keep them from swinging out. "Throwover" is also a bit of a misnomer these days as most people secure them under the pillion seat.
  16. Dozy idiots at the paper cannot even spell Aerial!!
  17. You not considered a chain carrier, then? It's a small zip-up pouch that lashed around your back seat. 2 Quick Release buckles secure/release the bag and teh straps wrap around the underside of your pillion pad. Here: Start with these
  18. Taxes still aren't certain - if you order by phone, you're still relying on Royal Fail to deliver it in time!!
  19. Nope - 650 came first in 1998. 1100 came later in 1999. Drags were born from the Virago engines. IIRC, the first 650 Drag was bored out from a 535 Virago. Wikipedia will probably have a wealth of info.
  20. Apparently the specials count as Movies... Natural Born Killers
  21. At least that one rhymes!!
  22. The 650s will do 90 with a restriction kit on.... Trust me
