    Prices? Examples?
  2. Survey could do with multiple option select, since many of these factors are of equal importance. Can currently only pick one. Other than that, cool - Survey submitted!
  3. Wotcha Pete!! Sheet metal, eh? What sort of things have you done? Could you do stuff like a half-sphere shape with some ribbing and 2-3mm deep indentations in 16ga steel, perhaps? If so, I may have a few jobs for you... Send me a PM if interested.

Consult a solicitor and then sue the shit out of them!! The council, not the solicitor

I don't recall having to remove the carbs for valve clearances... just the damn annoying plasti-chrome things! Anything that makes more space for access will make it easier, though. I heard that it's fairly easy to unbolt and drop the engine out instead, which means lots of space topside. BTW, this *is* simple home maintenance. Just on an old bike with some 'challenging' design features!! The other version involves taking your bike to a pro garage and watching while they plug it into a computer and start doing things with specialist software over a "3G comnet Telnet wireless CGI 440 connection to LAN 91 CDM Power Commander interface running 820 megabytes of DPI down an unobtainium adamantium alloy cable", before they can even adjust the frickin' wing mirror!!

    One minute wonder, huh?
  9. Where'd you get a decibel meter from? I'd love to know what our bikes come in at... All I know is that California law limits bikes to less than 92db and cars to less than 96db - Which is of little use here in Reading!
  10. Ooh, I want a go on THAT!! Get a Rocket III engine - 2300cc of raw biking POWAH!!!!! I love custom stuff like this!
  11. Nowt wrong with standard pipes. They have been designed specifically so the bike runs at optimum output vs fuel consumption, etc etc. 125 custom parts are not that common, partly because they kill the resale value of the bike. There was one chap here that was planning sets, but I don't know if he's even still around.

Good to hear about nice people for a change!! Glad you're both home safe and, as mentioned, see what can be learned from this.

Oh... Just googled. Shit! Then again, this is along teh same vein as More Crap than News (MCN), so I wonder if it's just sensationalist bullshit.
  14. You haven't been accepted yet. Not until you go through...... "THE INITIATION!!!" Nah, welcome to the forum!
  15. Errr... Salaam alikum?
  16. That thing weighs 37 stone - Of course it'll lose speed uphill, ha ha!! I've maxed out at an indicated 107mph, so yeah 95-odd sounds about right. And STOP trying to keep up with Speedy the Organ Donor... or get a stupidly fast bike and then try!!

Cannot access site. What on earth is it?
  18. REALLY??!! You *should* be able to top 90mph on a flat road.... Even with straight-throughs and no counter-mods, mine will top 85! Might want to get that bike in for a check-up... 0-60 in 7 seconds standard, with an easy 5 seconds if you go clutchless.
  19. Welcome to the forum, Rakoon!!
  20. That's what the 1100 is for!!
