Hey there, sounds like what my current fzr is doing(second one:P) i think its due to carbs not been set up properly and/or dirty. best thing to do is elimanate the cheap things, iv given my bike a service, now when they eventually come ill put in new carbs in as the ones i have need setting up and new bowls so it was cheaper to get a new one

Tell my about it, in the end i couldnt find the exup, so i cut the wires on the exhaust and attempted to tie them up Now its got something wrong with the carbs wont go over 8000rpm grrrr but it will if its in neutral, lovely bike though =] Taking out the carbs and going to try combined 2 together

Right... got my self a 400 fzr exup 1wg rsp... but... I cant find where the bloody valve connects to :S i took the exhaust of a 3tj which has the valve in etc, but i was looking around the bike and i dont think i can find one... if it doesnt have one for some reason shall i just jam the valve open? as its the only exhaust iv got left? Pretty much what the title says =] Im getting the RSP but iv got the 3TJ in parts so was wondering what i could do with the RSP But does any one know if the 3TJ MICRON exhaust will fit on the RSP Downpipes? Anddd If the 3TJ swing arm and fairings fit the RSP as well? i know the front head fairing wont but dunno if back will? Cheers Danny

Okay wicked cheers for the help Yeah the 3rd spark plug was stuck so we got the mechanic to heli-coil that hole(this is the one with around 45psi in it). Nah the mechanic didnt really tell me much which i was bit concerned cause i recon he may have cause the problem worse, But the garage i took it to before made it ten times worst it sounded like it had a sore throat after it came out of there, but the stupid retards told me it was "sweet as a nut" Ill carry on stripping the bike down prehaps later on today, or tomorrow Ill keep you posted if its one of those problems, its probably all Cheers Danny

If your tyre pressure is incorrect that may cause wobbleness, or maybe one of these; Stiff front shock(which can cause speed wobble) front wheel spindle out by a mm to much weight on one side if the wheel is unbalanced it will probably pull you to one side if it happens again dab your back brake gently and stop acclerating. hope this helps

Hey erm yeah i got conned on my bike :angry: :angry: , It ran for 2 weeks then found out the 3rd sparkplug was stuck and wasnt working, i got it sent off to get fixed and after a month or 2 found out it had no compression in 3 of the pistons and something like 45 in 1. Whats this all about? Can any one help? Also this is going to sound retarded but is it the top end of bottom end that needs to be changed, cause i found a complete top end for sale but wasnt sure if it would sort the compression out? hey, i need settings for my FZR 400 3TJ 1989 mikuni carbs. i cant find any manuals or anything on this bike jap imported. but yeah its running to rich, the only way it would run/idle is with no air box also takes a while to start but im guessing that its flooded and gunked up the the spark plugs. so yeah could any one help please? cheers danny
