I love piercings/tattoos etc I have 'Snake bite' piercings as you call them and my labret done and my tongue and 20mm tunnels in my lugs and one for the lady's hahaha ! I'd be very careful what you get, luckily they suit me and my personality... Iv seen alot of people get certain ones done just to be part of the scene and they get it all wrong My advice to you is think what would suit your look and personality! Certainly don't do it yourself and 100% no no on the bad boy eyebrow job!! hahaha
  2. Hey, finally someone from the north east! Theirs 5 or 6 of us from Guisborough/Saltburn area who ride out usually Whitby/Helmsley/Scarborough way, who'll all be interested! Keep me informed

Hey, Nice bike my friend good choice! similar cosmetic mod's to what iv done on mine bar iv waited till i run the engine in 3000 miles before fitting any engine modifications this month(was advised by tuning specialist).... Iv had this discussion about 'Upgrading' to the R1 on here and they pointed out some obvious things which i expected and makes sense.... I hope you don't think I'm been patronizing when i say this as its just a friendly opinion.... ! Iv been riding just over a year with 10 years off road experience and lots of track days over the summer and i personally think moving up to a thou especially a '09 R1 would be a silly and unnecessary move for my ability and riding style (plus an '08 R6 is an absolute dream machine around corners).... Not saying your not competent enough to handle the R1 and i don't know how much general riding experience you've had in the past but a move to a thou with 6 months experience is asking for trouble in my eyes You and your pals should have a trip down to the north east for a ride out theirs a few of us on R6, R6, CBR6RR, ZX-9R, Blade, Speed Triple.... See you soon!

Yeh thought so! I'm getting the tail of the blue R6, so I'm trying to see if i can modify the white yam cowel with a red trim or even find somewhere that sells them... or last resort use a non-backrest one...

I noticed a big hole right down to the armouring in my back tyre a few weeks ago so thought it would be a good time to set her in for the winter months and start the modding process! I'm now looking for a new set of tyres! Opinions please?

Hey, thanks for the advice! Your probably right as well! If i don't get a bigger bike i'll definitely be looking to mod this R6... Might even see about a GSX-R 750 haha
  13. I'm trying to compile a list of performance mods i can make to my R6. I know the basic ones i.e PC3, Filter and Exhaust. Are they any other mods you can make that won't jeopardize the engines life span etc. Also what specific brands are best? Cheers.

Hey! I'm a fairly new rider with a years worth of riding! I currently own a 2008 R6 which is everything i thought i wanted in a bike! fast, pokey, great handling etc...! But iv just come into some money and was looking to upgrade to a 2009 R1 but is it really an upgrade...? I love winding roads which are abundant in my neck of the woods! Is my R6 enough? And would my relative inexperience hinder my riding on such a powerful bike? Basically I'm looking for general opinions on which would be best my R6 or a new R1? Pro's and Cons and all that...! Cheers.
