Foamy go for the purists...The kind of thing me and my ol man do.
We took our stuff to a Brit bike meet as you do... The bikes in question being my dads 71 honda that i will have somehow. As well as my Dt.
You can imagine the looks we were getting. That honda of my dads in its day out classed every brit you could buy. The blade of its day. Both of our bikes being older than a lot of the exhibits didn't help.
So go get an old brit. An old bonnie one of the post units are cheap. Throw out the lead heart and graft in a rd400 motor. Then go see what happens at a triumph owners meet.........ooooh what about a dt400 in a bantam ha ha ha ha...

I have told this tale before but a friend of mine will forever regret helping a bloke in leathers get his bike on a recovery truck.
'poor fellow' had lost his keys and was being recovered. Alarm screaming away. Wayne helped.
Turns out they were nicking it. Broad daylight. Cos of the leathers and helmet no one took the slightest notice.
A big lock locked too something. In truth anything that takes time and makes noise works. All your doing is making it harder to nick than the next bike. Shitty i know but thats how it is.

But tje 96 motor is designed to work very differently. That motor can comfortably make 20 pluss hp de restricted PROPERLY with the right electronics.
It wont like the 5 wire servo much as that gives a big wide rideable torque spread. Getting an older cdi working would be a better bet. Even at the expence of newer parts.
This is when you need vez to confirm it but i'm 99.9 per cent certain of this.

will i have to give the wheel size to the company to see if it fits or will it fit anyway. its a 130/70/18

If its the reccomended fitment by that tyre manf unless you have an odd wheel it will be fine. If there are width options any decent tyre company will check before fitting.

Dont care. After driving 2000k in 3 days it made me feel a lot better tramping up and down the m40.

Lady Penelopy " Oh parker, please remove my favorite lacy bra"
Parker "of corse m'lady"
LP. " parker be a darling and slip my panties off would you"
P " 'cough' of corse mi, milady"
LP "now then lets get those heels off and get to it"
P "of....of..course mi...mi lady."
LP "now then parker i hope this is the last time i catch you in my underwear........"

Just had to mention it. Have just been talking to my kids on the phone and opened the paper to it. Rips at your guts.
I cannot imagine how they feel nor want to. But i feel for them.
How the laws are fixed. I dont know. More will be done next time it happens. There will be another. Sure as the sun comes up.
I just wish the press would erase the psycho that did it. Remove him from any publicity. Just remember the victims.
That would help more than banning assault rifles.

Oh wow plenty pics and info on this. I love motorcycle porn.
Clever heads to pick. Richard at TTS. Towcester Tuning Services. If your serious he will talk you through all of it. I think he had a hand in Jack Frosts wheelie record bike. Amongst others. He is one of streetfighters go to guys. They will not compromise.
As to the plan, surely low comp forged pistons will be far stronger than a spacer. Billet rods with a welded trued and balanced crank for the bottom. Whether a billet crank would be a better bet. Thats big money though.
A lock up clutch too to handle the oomph.
How will you fuel it. Blown carb? Injectors? That might be good. Nick the electrics from an r1 and re map....
Er got carried away.........must stop. Looks like fun, expensive but fun...

Oops.
I dont like the seam from the cap. That should have gone to the headder tank.
Was on right? Dont shoot me for asking but wouldnt be the first time a cap has gone bad or it hasnt been tightened.
