Old hat these days. Car systems use one time signals. The fob and the car can recognise each other like old time spies. It knows what the next code should be. Resend the last signal it will be ignored. If you press the fob too many times on my rangy it ignores the fob till you use it in the ig and they have a 'chat'. Unless you have an old car. Its not likely.

Can you not fit the backplate and flywheel from a non leccy start bike. Non cdi just points and condenser.. Then you would only need minimal wiring instead of the rats nest needed for yours.

The oil in the gearbox of a little commuter like the rxs will be fine for years. So long as the level is good. All the junk in a 4stroke comes from the top end. Little bits of carbon passing the rings and stuff burning on the bottom of the pistons. Thats the black killer gunk in a 4 stroke. All you have to colour yours is some clutch dust. Dont fret. Like i said the level is more important than the type.

Again start a new thread. Oh and dont give up. You can fit a r1 to a tace with work. The stressed member bit is academic that way. Its only if you tried to fit the ace motor to an r1.....ha. Not saying its an easy swap though. The 7/11 days are long gone.
