Size is meaningless, I have tried bigger tyres on mine and all it causes is problems. Either with mud clearance or grip, just because a tyre is bigger doesent make it better. Tyre width affects wet behaviour and steering dramatically. For 70/30 and reputable trail tyre will be fine. From experience these bikes on dirt behave better with an aggressive front tyre and and ordinary rear that you can keep spinning. But for 70/30 road dirt that will compromise your road riding too much. I have bridgestone trail wings on my dt (now discontinued I think) but there are plenty of comparable tyres. I have ridden through everything on them from work to being engine deep in fords. The nut holding the bars makes the biggest difference.

No it wont pass with fast indicators. Just fit higher wattage bulbs, or in line resistors. What type and wattage are the current bulbs.

Why is t obvious its still warped. Nearly all head/barrel leaks on these engines are caused by dodgy head gaskets. You should only use genuine head gaskets. Anything else leaks.

Something like yours would be nice but its just too much money. Looking at 500 for that kind of spec with even basic components. That could be a set of custom JL pipes.

You know sometime is good to be a little bit older.. Riding home last night I stopped alongside a dt. Im a bit fed up with the rain. He had an open face lid, normal clothes, trainers and no gloves. Think he was really pissed by it.

On a dt175 bigger or smaller tyres will make bugger all difference. The more important question is what you will want from the bike. Mud plugger, road commute, period correct classic. Thats is the question to answer.

I used to but our pc is too old and clunky for online pc stuff, now I just use the ps3. F1 2013 and gt5 are about all I got.

Seals go in same time as the bearings. Use a heatgun on the cases and they drop in with barely a tap. Make sure they are the right seals, they are different for each side and very easy to mix up. Red hylomar worked fine for me, dont blather it on though. Just a thin bead.

First time this year on the way to work. Enough sunlight, no rain or fog (do I hate riding on motorway in that.) Was dry, proper dry that the couple of roundabouts into work were proper fun. Looking foreward to the trip home now, 3 different country routes of around 15 to 20 mile to chose from. Not including the mway of course. Decisions.......
