MEAN 1

Once my new FZ1N is run in am thinking what type of oil should i run ? Full Synthetic or Semi Synthetic ? i have always used semi syn in my bikes & changed both oil & oil filter every 3000km or approx 1700miles , but is it required that one should run Full syn oils in a R1 based engine of the 2008 model FZ1N ? . also once you use full syn oil , theres no turning back to using semi syn is there ? whats your opinion or what are you using in your R1 / FZ1N & why . p.s. thanks in advance for any help ..

^^ that certainly is going fast (155mph) , i'd say its approx 260kph ..

^^ thanks guys for the welcome , i fitted a GYTR(Genuine Yamaha Technolgy Racing) carbon fibre slip on , fender eliminator , crash sliders , radiator guard , tank grips , billet bar end mirrors etc

i purchased a new 2008 FZ1N last week , i havent had the chance to ride it much . once run in , i'll run it through its paces . but my question is , what top speed are other members getting out of theirs ? hows their overall performance ? i'd certainly hope it can reach 260kph ?

it comes off with the OEM pipe , 1st you must disconnect the cables . then just take the pipe off & slip on the new aftermarket pipe , not hard to do . no remapping needed , the bike sounds 200% better IMO with OEM pipe gone ..

i fitted a GYTR (genuine yamaha technology rcing) carbon fibre slip on , to my 2008 FZ1N . it looks awesome & sounds very sweet ..
