Hi everyone! I have just about reached the first 1000 km on my new V Star and want to change the oil/filter. Any idea where I can get the SAE 20/40 oil recommendes for this bike? (That is beside Yamaha dealership) Appreciate it!

Hi All, Just got my Yamaha V star couple weeks ago - great bike, except the handle bar position. Rode Honda CB900C before this and the bar was just right on that bike - very comfortable, even after 800 miles. I see there are variety of replacement bars out there, as well as custom riser now available, anyone has any experience with using these? Which bar can use the stock cables, any idea? Ride safe

How did you adjust the bars, to what height from the ground? I tried couple of different positions, but I am still not happy..looking for different bars also, any suggestions anyone? Thanks
