I've just bought a 2001 Yz 250 and it runs like a dream - when i can start it!!! I've heard with the four strokes you need to have the piston at top dead centre, is it the same with the two strokes? if so, how do i tell when it's at top dead centre? Please help, it's driving me crazy!!!

Anyone know how many miles you can get out of a full tank of fuel? I've got a 2001 Yz250. I'm planning a long ride with a couple of mates and i don't want to run out of fuel and have to push my bike all the way home!!! I've just bought the bike so i haven't got a clue how far i can go! Cheers.

Have you tried ebay? I just got a 2001 Yz 250 for £1000, which i thought was pretty reasonable, the guy i bought it off even delivered it to my house!
