Been covered many times before try a search
  2. I dont think the dtx wheels would fit because the forks are usd on the x model and could be a hassle to fit but any thing fit if you want it too.
  3. both real nice bikes.
  4. How id love one of them bikes
  5. Really nice bike you have there
  6. Its been covered before, http://www.yamahaclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14067
  7. Its not too hard of a job aslong as you do everything evenly such as a staple for the front then back then sides etc, if you do try it also make sure you dont do it too tight as it will just rip again.
  8. lol yeah an 07 plate, im the opposite if im honest not keen on the older model. All for our own and all that i suppose.
  9. Very nice, il keep an eye on that then i like seeing people being brave enough to do different things to bikes that no one else has done, done a couple of things to mine but like it too much to go any further as will probs be sellling it this year.
  10. Yeah sorry was just about to edit last post but youd already beat me to it, okay 10 bikes by 19 your defs not a starter but maybe a starter at searching! lol

Also i just remembered window cleaner is a good lube to get the tyres on as it evaporates and use some talc powder when putting the tyre on aswell to soften it up

I recently just bought a set of buzzetti levers, really good probs some some of the best on the market. As for the tyre change there is some videos on youtube that show you. Its not too hard if im totally honest just make sure the tyres warm before you put it back on i.e. sat in front of a radiator for couple of hours so itl be softer to get back on the rim. Also a heavy duty inner tube might be worth getting aswell HTH
  15. Iv got the RE version and the caliper just folds back from one bolt being undone and the pads literally pull out and thats it, im sorta confused why yours isnt the same
  16. Im sure this has been asked before but il give it ago, It wont be a straight fit on the front so you might need some spacers + a bracket for your caliper if you want the bigger disc. The back wheel might fit straight off but again not completly sure. I think its the TDM's wheels that will fit straight on iv seen it done before. Sorry for nothing
  17. Moe grips should work nicely,
  18. Because they can be rather pricey and some arnt all that helpful imo
  19. absolutely stock this bikes can do 65mph (04 and on) iv never ever struggled to get over 50mph?
  20. Not alot other than its pretty much the same as the dt125 just with a bigger engine.
  21. Wemoto maybe?

back on topic lol personally after only a years riding i wouldnt go to an r1, it sounds as if you want to go faster. An r6 is plenty fast enough for the road! the roads arnt a race track remember and you will only get yourself in trouble or hurt. so just take it easy. keep safe
  23. im on knobblies too but im never touching the powervalve.
  24. You would have to restrict it for legal and insurance reasons to get the certificate, once you have that do what you want...
  25. Im on stock gearing.
