DT125RE WONT START
If it works with jump leads attatched thats surely pointing towards the battery? Batteries can just all of a sudden die, its weird and annoying but they can lose a cell or something (cant remember the technical term) Check the rectifier as well, make sure the leads have good contact and no corrosion around them. The cdi sounds fine though. Youre better off finding the problem before spending money and hoping. With DT's its usually something simple.

Any help with DriveChains?
Just out of curiosity, who told you gold ones are best?? Colour has nothing to do with its quality, buy the best you can afford. You cant go wrong with a decent o-ring chain though and depending what bike and budget you have you may choose to go for an x-ring but most stick with o-rings. You will also need to change your sprockets as well otherwise they will ruin your new chain very quickly if they have started to 'hook' You also need to make sure you get the right pitch and the right amount of links to. Again depending what bike you have will affect the cost so a bit more info would be great.

sprocket sizes for top end speed
If anything id put a slightly larger rear sprocket on, they arnt made for top speed at the end of the day. That said I dont understand why people find 80mph on a dt hard to beleive?? Mine used to hit 80 if the conditions were right and wringing its neck. (Mine was on stock gearing btw) My old beast: Still kind of miss it.

Bike mirrors
I used to use zefal spy mirrors on my supermoto, worked great and looked really sleak on the bars. Rubber mounted so no vibration issues either which was the main problem on the 650 single. Bought them from Amazon; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zefal-FA003576001-Mirror-Spy/dp/B000FY05PG Fitted to the bike:

My Pride & Joy
If you want a decent 125 2 stroke supermoto, for me it would have to be the dtx or the aprilia sx. The Aprilia is a bit faster but will need more maintenance.

selling advice please
If you sell to a dealer they will be wanting to make as much profit as possible so if they offered you £1200 they wouldnt make much back from it. As already said sell it privately, you will be much better off.

My Pride & Joy
I wouldnt bother with a 2nd bike to be honest. You have one decent one there which does the job. At least you dont have to worry about 2t oil and it will just go on and on without any major problems.

Noisy clutch :( DT125RE '06

Id stick with oem to be honest, the quality of the plates will be much better than a cheaper after market one.

How To: YZF R125 Performance Air Filter

TZR50. After rebuild how long do I need to run it in for.
Iv read mixed opinions of running in a 2 stroke, some say rev it hard from day 1 and others say dont go over half throttle for a few hundred miles. Either way those speeds you put up are ridiculous and youll be pretty bored by the end of it..
