hi ojaxo,i used to have one of these back in the eighties..very reliable but eats cam chains(caused by engine braking )...from what i can remember not the fastest thing 60 ish but good fun..not ask quike as some two strokes off the mark but go foreva...regards martin.

hi ejute63.....you may not have an electrical fault at all ...check your maintenance book and compare the bikes compression ratio ...two strokes can be a bugger to start if the rings are worn.....another pointer may be worn or hard crank seals...if in dought on the electrical side check in your book it sould tell you how to check your coil ect with a multi meter....hope thats of a little help.regards martin.

hi mate you have def got a bad connection.....normaly bad earth.....got a full service manual for my xtz 750 of a guy on ebay....its on cd ....very handy to have ....just type in what you want and this guy will sure to have one.....regards martin.

hi again all..im on the lookout for some parts for my xtz ...back and front rims as mine are a little rough...does anyone know were i can get wavey disc from to fit the super ten ...would also be greatful if any one has any stainless front pipes......ppplease

hi all....ive not so long ago bought my very first xtz super tenere....love the bike to bits..found a couple of sights that may be of interest...first of all,i couldnt find a replacement screen found this company on the net([email protected] au) they make screens too fit that are 100mm taller and i my case the colour i wanted (blue ) there servic eis great and the produce is spot on ......also emulsion tubes...known problem on big twins...try these guys factory pro ...got both my tubs from them for 23usd plus 12 usd for shipping just type in emulsion tubes on the net and they come up.....fast delivery toooooo....hope above is of use to anyone....
