Remember the pain when you fell off your pushbike as a wee yin as well as the skin you lost from your knees and elbows? No way would I ever go out in shorts and t-shirt - you'd have to be clinically insane. Either that or have a fetish about sticking to your bedsheets.

I thought Rossi's performance was easily the equal of Pedrosa in that race. To come from twelfth to finish second is incredible - the only reason it's being a little overlooked is because it's Rossi and it's what we expect him to do. Genius.

I can't believe you went a ride without a helmet, gloves or boots on. Nutter.

    Lizy's 19 years old - thought I was on a winner.

Absolutely fantastic. Worth my mates falling out with me for duking footie. The way Rossi came back after screwing up and falling back to 5th was genius on two wheels.

R1 with a custom pink paintjob and matching leathers with "Power Ranger Pete" sewn onto them?

It's nearly impossible to maintain a constant speed on my R6 but I don't get any surging. More that, on a constant throttle at lowish revs, it just wants to accelerate all the time. Does that make sense?

I'm so damn masculine I need to camp it up a little, ye know?

Change of plan on the cards. I can insure a R1, a Fireblade or a GSX-R750 for buttons more than a ZX-6r. Watch this space.

Did it twice last night, backwards, on one wheel. Only had to slow down to help the broken down BMW guy in the pink leathers.

Genius! I'll be practicing that fella, had a few clutches go on me and it's a total pain in the rear.

Does anyone sell an aftermarket steering damper that works the same as the one on the new Fireblade? Genius bit of kit.

That was my impression of a 206 turbo diesel doing a clutchless upshift. You mean you couldn't tell?

No chance is it an advanced technique it's easier to do than changing up with the clutch.
  23. Boozehound replied to JohnR6's post in a topic in The Bar
I never use the clutch on upshifts when really going for it and it makes some difference. Like yourself though, I only do it when riding hard. Not done any harm to my bike as far as I know.

I've come on here to confess a terrible sin that I am about to commit. I accept that I will be ostracised for this and also that I deserve it. I will shortly be parting company with my R6 and replacing it with a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R. On the plus side my mate's bought my R6 so at least I know it's going to a good home.

Funnily enough, I'm looking for a new set at the moment. Love the styling of the Arlen Ness gear and might go for their kit. But, from reviews in magazines (and a commendation from a mate of mine) I think you could do a lot worse than the Teknik (sp?) Chicane suit - amazing value.
