YZF750 LED Indicators
Havent had a chance to check bike yet, as its been to cold with all the snow. Just to clarify some things, I should remove the bulb from the dash and indicators should work? Asking this because before when this all started I had 2 LED's on the front and 2 Standard on the rear (worked perfectly) Disconnected the 2 Rear to LED's - All 4 flashed like hazards Disconnected the 2 rear - still flashes like hazards even with the 2 standard on the rear again... have I blown the relay?

YZF750 LED Indicators
So I remove the lamp in the dash it should work? I just thought because it wasnt working that It might be blown, open circuit...no? Just that when I try left and right, I cant hear the relay working just hazard lights with the light on dash. Will try as you say and remove the bulb and let you know. Thanks

YZF750 LED Indicators
Right this is what happened, I have 2 LED's at the front and had 2 basic indicators at the rear, which all worked fine. The rear led's are the ones I wanted to change. When I fitted the rear LEDS they all flashed like hazards, disconnected the wires and reveresed them, thinking I may have them in the wrong way. So I completely disconnected the rear set and now when I put on indicators the front flash like hazards and my indicator bulb on the instrument panel isnt working ??? Any ideas.

YZF750 LED Indicators
Right this might be an easy answer, but I aint sure... OH by the Way MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!......... Right I just fitted my rear led indicators on my yamaha, blink/flash rate is spot on Just that when I press left or right, both seem to flash at the same time. Do I need a bridge rectifier or something as someone mentioned this or another flasher relay If so where do either of these go. Thanks

Yamaha YZF R1 exhaust questiion ..asap!!!
Hi and yes coolant answer helped, not tackled the removal of the casing to clean the sprocket though. The reason why I asked if the link pipe fitted was as I have noticed on some R!'s that the connection of the bottom link pipe comes out a bit a few cm's asupposed to mine coming out kinda straight. Might just need to tweak the link pipe.

Yamaha YZF R1 exhaust questiion ..asap!!!
Hi all I have a Yamaha YZF 750 R bike but am wondering if a YZF R1 exhast and link pipe will fit. The R1 eexhaust is from a 2001 model and mine is a 1995/6 bike. The link pipe is the high rise one, which sweeps round the pedal (noob, so I think I am explaining it right) I needhelp asap as the person thats selling needs answer quickly. So does the link pipe fit mine at the bottom at bellypan??? Thanks

YZF750 R Coolant question
2 Things : 1. On my YZF750R 1995/6, when taking the cap off the radiator my water level is where it should be. The coolant bottle under riders seat is empty is this normal as I thought it was an overflow bottle, or should it be a certain level. I have no manual for this bike so please any help would be useful. 2. How easy is to to take off the cover above kickstand to clean my front sprocket as I notice there is a hose attached to the cover Thanks

YZF750R Weird noise???
Right first up my motorcycle wouldnt start this morning (cold morning) It ran excellent the day before for a good 5 hours, through all the rev ranges 100+ mph... All I got was it was ready to tick over then a bang noise from engine (I feird the worst) Took the rear paddock stand off stripped the tank off and checked hoses before attempting to start a second time. Noticed that the long pipe under the carbs have, which looks like a white crystal stuff on them, maybe ice? This was found on the hose on the left side too Rolled the bike back and forth for a good bit (pushing bike into gears), as it was a freezing cold night! It then started at the touch of the button, seemed to have locked or something. What causes this, and is it easily fixed. I also noticed that when on a run after 20 or even 1 hour on the bike, when switched off then grabbing a bite to eat. Going back to the bike and setting off in 1st gear after a few seconds there is like a small bang noise from the engine Is this something to do with it not starting? Maybe clutch is Fu**ed!.. novice

My yzf750R7replica
Hi and thanks for the reply. So basically everything is intact and that piece is the only bit you have to do? Assuming the rear number plate plastic needs cut (original undertray) Also any ideas where I could get hold of the rear R7 tail piece. John.

YZF 750 Fuel Fitler
Right this maybe a simple question for you ppl but for me I'm not sure. I have a YZF750R 1995/6 bike and wanting to fit an inline fuel filter is this possible as I know you can do it with the normal 750's but havent seen one did to this model. If it's possible which hose goes where. Thanks

Blue smoke from exhaust...
Yeah, as stated before the garage is supposed to have done a valve compression test they said it was low and they changed gaskets, shims etc. So STP stop leak , so thats an oil change and then add this stuff? or do i drain this when doing the oil change? Thanks

Blue smoke from exhaust...
Right before I go on i have made various posts, as no one seems to read them I will make a big one I have a YZF750R 1995/6 bike with 27K on the clock Recently had new emulsion tubes fitted from factory pro (with there settings) New plugs, filter and change. Supposingly, by garage had new shims and compression fixed (thats debatable at the moment) At start up I get blue smoke and a good wiff of it too (only for a few seconds, doesnt matter if bikes cold or warm) and when throttles fully opened up on motorway... over 100+ Notice on a good run over 4-6 hrs could lose a bit of oil when checked at the end of the day. So I have read various posts regarding : AMETECH OIL, SEAFOAM, STP Stop Smoke, LIQUI MOLY ENGINE LEAK STOPPER Has anyone used these products, does it help?? As theres mentions to wet/dry/paper clutch systems eh? Any help would be appreciated and would help other riders in the same situation.

8000 rpm bike just died
on mine if it struggles by 60-65mph its an exup fault, probably a cable fault or valve seized at the bottom

The rear section, was there any modifications to the frame. If I just wanted to change the rear what would it involve? Thanks

YZF 750 Seals
I have a 1995/6 YZF 750 R with 27K on clock New emulsion tubes in carbs and just been serviced. What I would like to know is, to do the shims on this bike are they in the same position as the valve stem seals, as it burns oil which is visible by people behind me when throttle is fully opened on motorways (100+... ) Also you see blue smoke on start up of bike for a few seconds. The reason I am asking is that it was in the garage and supposingly my carb compression was low and they said they replaced the shims etc. with several gaskets been replaced. I had oil trickling from rocker gasket which they sorted a few days ago. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

YZF750 Engine question
Thanks for info, emulsion tubes where replaced got them from fatory pro and adjusted with there settings. Have semi synthetic oil in the engine as most ppl recommend with this bike. Bikes in garage this monday, just wait and see what happens. When I start bike up cold/warm with a bit of throttle I get a burst of blue smoke if no throttle then no smoke for some reason. Recently I topped the oil up to just under top line. When running my oil light came on, I have oil so whats causing that, bad connection on a cable??? Also noticed that when pulling away from cold start or during a journey I hear like a jilting noise, something like when you know its like 2 pieces of metal are seized together then loosen, kinda hard to explain, but bike runs well apart from rear brake squealing when brake applied.

YZF750 Engine question
Right, where to begin I previously had a post on here regarding the work done to my bike and it being in the garage for several weeks... To cut a long story short, to get to the shims on this bike, how do you do it? Do you need to take off the exhaust headers just below the carbs,? Cause I cant see any marks on bolts at the exhaust headers if they took them off As the garage said they replaced gaskets etc, and did the shims cause of low compression or something Now I am getting an oil leak at,..I think 2 of the gaskets as you look in the left side of the bike the 2 gaskets you see through the hole in the fairing. They gave me a receipt just saying the stripped down engine and how much oil they used. So if this gasket or 2 of them are totaly fu**ed! am I covered to get this replaced free (warranty etc) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks update.. forgot to mention I still get blue smoke at exhaust when fully opened, is this because of its age? 28K on clock

YZF750R Some questions need answers ...please
Right when I wahed my bike today the rear wheel has a bit of play when shaked (right side movement) Is it just the bushes I need replaced or is something else needed. I have Michelin Pilot Road 2's fitted 120 and 180 on rear, can I put on a 190 on the rear? will it handle different? When riding I can hear like a ping noise, only when riding and not when idling. Its a weird noise kinda like..sounds like its coming from the engine, dunno if its the spark plugs etc.. Riding 0-120+ seems ok no sluggish, or bogging down though. Best type of pads on this bike, are carbon lorraine any good? Any help on the above would be appreciated. Thanks
