Dear All, On my 2001 T Max the front brake has developed uneven braking, at slow speed it grabs and releases very badly. This is the second time this has happened and about 2 months ago I had the disc replaced with a new Yamaha disc and pads and the problem was 95% solved. But it is back. My local bike mechanics say maybe the caliper is pulling unevenly and distorting the disc, or maybe the wheel is not true. (the head bearings adjustment is fine).But replacing any of these parts will be very costly when we are not sure they are at fault. Can anyone shed any light on this problem? Many thanks. Does anyone have any knowledge of what this is likely to be? All other instruments and instrument lights are working fine but the speedo and odometer (mileage recorder) are not moving at all. Possibly this is co-incidental with having the front disc replaced recently and therefore perhaps the device on the front wheel that sends electrical information to the speedo was disturbed and now is not working? With electrical problems you cannot see what is wrong unless you are a whizz with diagnostic equipment! So any previous experience of the same problem will be gratefully received. Thanks. TM
