Hi all Can anyone please tell me where I can check for engine compatibility I have an old YB100 in need of a new barrel and have been offered a second hand one The person selling doesn’t know the year but he does have the engine number He lives to far away to take a gamble on a might fit Any help would be very much appreciated Tony.

Hi all I have just got a old yb100 (1976 model) tidy bike but in need of a new engine Can anyone confirm that a later models engine would drop straight in? I have also been told that a lot of FS1E parts will fit? I am fairly new to bikes so any help will be much appreciated Many thanks Tony.
