Can anyone give me a link to site where I can buy a front brake light switch for my 2000 fazer 600. I not having much luck not EVEN on ebay

Just an update. I went one tooth up on the front and the gearing for me is a lot better not as quick from a standind start but the engine revs seem better in top. I do find myself going round the twisty bits 1 gear down and only realy using 6th gear for the straights. Also didn't have to buy a new chain, so was a good cheap and usefull alteration.

HI all. Due to a bad back I finally had to sell my R6 with a very heavy heart. Two years on I just had to have a road bike so I just bought a 2000 fazer 600r. I feel it is low geared it has the right sprockets on it, but has anyone changed theirs with any success I'm not looking for blistering acceleration but get rid of that feeling of wanting a sevnth gear. Can anyone also direct me to a good supplier of fazer parts in the UK and prefably online.

Ha Ha very good, but as you said it would be funny if it wasn't actually true. I work in nuclear decomishing and it's unbeleivable the red tape health and saftey and paperwork you have to do just to pick up a pen. It's no wonder third world countrys are overtaking us, they don't have to work with the PC brigade like us. We just been banned from using stanley knives, one person cut his thumb so now we all are to stupid to handle them. They will be banning me from taking my bike to work next

I got one for mainly off road but keep it road legal so I can ride on public land so I can get between forest tracks ect. The power is awesome and not recommended for beginners, thats for sure. I have had it on MY back once and it hurt . Thats why you see so many newish ones for sale, people buy them and think it will handle like a road bike but once they realise these bikes spend most of the time on the back wheel they chicken out. I would like to get a spare set of wheels so I can ride on the road a bit more but they are a bit pricey so I'll just keep my R6 for the road. I rode a mates yam 250 2 stroke the other day and it was just a bit quicker on acceleration than mine but his is not as user friendly as mine for wending my way through trees and over gulleys, but I quess it's what you get used to, certainly keeping mine for awhile longer anyways
