Vehicle Description / Story
Restored March 2006 after 18 months from a box of bits off ebay!
Costs too much to contemplate but agreed value at £2500
twin disk conversion via Sr500 which have their single brake opposite the Xs's
xs1100 master cylinder and self drilled disks.
Valanced Alloy and stainless spoke wire wheels from an xs250.
after market NOS engine bar from Tower products of Blackpool (now defunct)
Engine: totally rebuilt by myself using new parts sourced from around the world. carbs sonically cleaned and new keyster carbs kits fitted.
Won 2nd best in show at Knabs head last year and 2nd best Yamaha in Heatley show this year (always a bridesmaid, never a bride!!)
used regullary and have done 3k miles since rebuild
