Posted May 18, 200816 yr Hello, I own a Yamaha XT350 (year 1993). I did see, that the older version ('80) has 27hp, but my Yamaha has only 17hp. Do you know about this problem? How can I remove the restriction?
May 18, 200816 yr how ya, i had a new XT125 back in 1991 that was restricted so i removed the carb (but left it hanging by the throttle cable) and then removed the metal plate that fits atween the carb and the enjun, twas where the restriction was ya see, all i did was enlarge the hole in this metal plate and hey presto i had full power.
