Posted May 12, 200817 yr Had continuing problems with tick-over and hick-up acceleration WITH a tackometer fault showing 3000rpm. Looked this up to be the Throttle positioning censor. Had the bike serviced, carbs cleaned & balanced and a brand new throttle postioning censor fitted (bloody expensive)..... and nothing! slightly improved running but still the 3000rpm fault, wont tick-over and acceleration hick-ups. any ideas greatly appreciated.. many thanks
