i have an 04 plate R6 LTD edition, the problem is at the moment it wont tick over?

after a 20min ride on friday 2mins from home it backfired in a big way and now wont tick over,i have looked at the manual and the light on the dash states an electrical prob.its runs and will rev as normal but just wont idle.

can anyone help with this please.
