FZ6 S2 Engine Ticking

I bought a new FZ6 S2 Fazer in June of 2007 and have put a lot of motorway km on the bike in one year.

I recently had the bike serviced at 20000 km at the beginning of April and upon return to me it has developed a ticking sound from the left hand side of the engine. When I collected the bike from the dealers after service I noticed the noise immediatly but thought it would settle down. I have let the bike sit for two weeks and when I started it again the noise is worse. I returned to the dealers and he says is just a noisy cam, nothing to worry about.

I am British but I have bought and use the bike in Holland and language can be a problem when making conversation with the mechanics.

I could seek advice form another dealers but I feel they would say the same.

An independant mechanic, I feel, would say yes it has a problem I will fix it ??

Your advice would be appreciated.
