Hey guys, i am new to this site and new to my (new to me) bike. I beleive its a 1983 Maxim 750. The model on the title says "RS". Can anyone confirm?

It has 17k original, and sat in a garage for ten years. I am not new to working on bikes. It does have a slight miss from one or more cylinders just above idle when cruising. Possibly a plugged pilot circuit. Could a ruptured CV diaphragm do this too?

Also, if you guys have any tips, tricks, suggestions, what to look for, what to do I really would appreciate it!

Thanks a bunch guys,

Rich

You'll probably get some good answers here but you might want to try XJBikes.com as well.
