help with oil leak

I have a 2006 yamaha v star and put the oil relocation kit on it. I had a few leaks at first with the hoses from the kit and got that straight, now I have a leak coming from somewhere up around the oil pan. I can't really tell from where. my question is this.....do you think the relocation kit put undo pressure on the pan to cause a leak? the bike only has 2000 miles.....can anyone help?
