Hi all

This is my first post and eager to get the bike on the road again

Last use on track day but shock was "shocking" and was told by the expert on track to throw it away

Can anone advise which is the best option for replacing the rear shock

I Have been offered a "Hagon" at about £260 but is this the best for the bike or what are the alternatives?

OOr, has anyone out there got one to sell??

keep an eye on EBAY for ohlins or newer exup shocks, they pop up all the time <_<

Hagon shocks are good enough for everyday use. You could spend a lot more money on a lot worse.

Careful of any genuine yam shocks on ebay etc, they are going to be a old as the one on your bike, and probably just as shot. You cant tell by looking at the nice shiney finish on the outside, its whats inside that counts.

If you want to spend a LOT of money, you could double the value of your bike a stick a nice brand new Ohlins item on, but unless you ride like a god and spend all your time on a track, you will probably never get any real value out of it.
