phuq2=IWAZERE Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 I just bought a mechanicaly perfect march 2000 r1 and aprt from minor cosmetic blemishes,to the fairing only,not the frame,the speedo unit works fine,but the tacho needle wont budge.Is this a common thing or just a one off?Can anybody tell me which of the cables going into the unit supplys the tacho its signal cause I cant find it in the workshop manual. The colour code that is.I also suppose that it gets its signal from the ignition pickup.Any help would be great. Take care out there and DONT FALL OFF.
