i've had bikes for years so the problem is definately with the bike.

i've just aqcuired a 1993 Yamaha TZR125R and when the engine is running it just wont go up into neutral. as soon as i switch the engine off, it will click into neutral first time so i dont understand why it will not go up into neutral whilst the engine is running?

it had a full engine rebuild 200 miles ago so i dont know if the engine will need to 'run in' a little more if this will resolve the impossible neutral issue

anyone have any ideas or opinions on whats going on here?

Hi this is a classic symptom of a clutch adjustment or too thick oil / too much oil issue
