Posted April 22, 200817 yr I am working on a 1980 xs400 chop and I want to rewire the bike for only the essential stuff (ie ignition, charging, headlight, brake light, kick only). It has the cdi ignitor box and I am looing for a diagram. Does anyone have one? Thanks

April 23, 200817 yr Moderator I have I have found ones for points setup but not electronic do you have a schematic diagram as I don't think that there is too much difference. Just the connection trigger to CDI box and CDI power/coils. If you still have the wiring loom, it might be best to connect up and unravel the outer cover and keep your wires connected to the cdi.
