Can someone give me any ideas why My oil light is staying on, the oil level is good.

Also am I correct in thinking that the oil light should come on when the bike is in neutral.

on my dt the oil light stays on if the bike is started and the lights are off, turn them on and it goes.

Sorry, Silly me, The Oil Light is not Engine Oil Pressure, it is the level of the 2 Stroke Oil in the Header tank.

I was simply out of 2 Stroke oil.
