Can anyone help, i have bought a fzr 600 as a non runner.

The guy i bought it from said there was a problem with the kick stand switch, and thats why it had no spark.

When i got it home i could see that the previous owner had lost the old kickstand, he had put another stand on but it was from a totally different bike.

In the process of trying to get it to fit he had done some welding to the frame.

I have since replaced the kickstand and the switch but i still get no spark?

I have tried a different cdi with no joy.

I have checked all the switches(clutch, ignition, neutral) and the fueses.

It has a new battery.

I have tried a different reg/rec.

There is power going to the ignition coils.

It has new plugs.

The bikes a 1990 3he model.

So if anybody has any ideas that would be a great help.

thanks.

When the stand is up, make sure it activates the switch plunger, If it does'nt, then hold the plunger in with something and try again

Already tried that, but to no avail.

Im thinking maybe the previous owner may have burnt something out, when he was welding the kickstand/frame.

I did check all the switches and they all seem to work fine.

If you have any other ideas as to what i could check, that would be a great help.

Regards,

Nick.
