Hey everyone,

Does anyone know where or have youhad anyone make a custom seat for your 400special? I want something that sits lower. I had a guy make the one for my xs that I have as my avatar but, he isnt around anymore. Just thought I would ask any suggestions? Maybe try to do it myself. I dunno I am redoing another xs400 I have total resto on it. So far Im good for the road except the seat and I need a new front brake caliper. anyway any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sargent makes pretty good seats, I had mine redone there so you might want to give them a call and see what you can get.

for a upholdterer try LK leighton in birmingham.

maybe make a pan yourself and get them to cover it?

go to thechopperunderground forum and ask for beeza , or theres 3 other guys on that board makin seats. check this month copy of the horse & see his work, & he's out your direction too.
