hi guys i've just bought a '02 R6. Its a german import and the speedo reads in kph...how would i go about changing it to read mph?

Hi mate, hope this helps

1. Turn the key to the on position

2. Press and hold the select and reset buttons at the same time

3. Continue to hold them for 3-5 seconds, it will change from MPH to KPH or from KPH to MPH

It works for me on my 2000 R1 so it should work on yours.

dude its a german import so only shows kph unlike the uk models which do both.

i've found a company that'll make mine into uk spec.

Well if you had said that in your initail post i wouldn't have suggested it would i....and since i have no interest whatsoever in pocket rockets i definately wouldn't have known - only tryin to be helpful you know.
