jud Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Hi all. I'm new to this forum. I have just sold my XJ600 and pick my "proper" bike up on Friday, an XV750SE. I Guess what I'm looking for is for you all to tell me what a great choice I've made and how much pleasure I'm gonna have. It will be my 1st big low rider, I had a 125, I enjoyed it fully but am now ready for the cruiser experience. I got the speed thing out of my system with the XJ but I now want to cruise rather than blast! Any advice welcome. Thanks in anticipation. Jud.
kniller Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Great minds think alike! i've just done exactly the same, except gave up my xj600 for a 650dragstar. did you get a good price for your divvy? mine is sitting pretty at tho moment no offers yet.

My divvy wasn't in great nick, 1997R i got £600 for it and I was delighted!

What a GREAT choice you have made and you will have hours of pleasure on it!.......(now why does that sound soooo wrong ) Seriously - welcome to the cruiser riders clan, you will love it without a shadow of a doubt, its a completely different experience and im sure you wont regret it - i never have

I put mine on ebay and within a half hour someone foned me up and asked me what price i would take it off for. I told him to make me a serious offer and he offered 550 but I got him up to 600 and he came and fetched the bike the following day! result!!!
